What？！！Once again， Jen outdid herself！ I love how we're in the same world still （my fave！）。 The story is so good！ Is obvious （to us） who her soulmate is and it has you yelling at the characters the entire time！ The last chapter was mind boggling！！！ What is the shadow？ She can't be human， what IS she？！ Do they make it in time to save all 3 of the girls？ I need to know！ What？！！Once again， Jen outdid herself！ I love how we're in the same world still （my fave！）。 The story is so good！ Is obvious （to us） who her soulmate is and it has you yelling at the characters the entire time！ The last chapter was mind boggling！！！ What is the shadow？ She can't be human， what IS she？！ Do they make it in time to save all 3 of the girls？ I need to know！ 。。。more

Kay， first off， I love Jen L。 Grey。 I love to read fantasy （seems to be my favorite genre） and she writes it so well。 I tried to find other authors who write similar books like hers within the urban fantasy community on Amazon， but only came up with a few titles。 So the fact is， Jen writes like no one else。 I love most of her stories！ In fact， I bought most of her books to read。 I don’t know if she will write more books that I will like， but I do plan to get some future trilogies set in the Shad Kay， first off， I love Jen L。 Grey。 I love to read fantasy （seems to be my favorite genre） and she writes it so well。 I tried to find other authors who write similar books like hers within the urban fantasy community on Amazon， but only came up with a few titles。 So the fact is， Jen writes like no one else。 I love most of her stories！ In fact， I bought most of her books to read。 I don’t know if she will write more books that I will like， but I do plan to get some future trilogies set in the Shadow City world。 Our main character， Veronica， or Ronnie， is a human。 She has come to Shadow City to find her missing sister who has fallen for a vampire。 Along the way， she meets new friends and her own fated mate。 As Ronnie tries to navigate this new supernatural world， she does her best to survive。Ronnie…isn’t my favorite of all the heroines that Jen has written。 Why， I still adore my precious pink haired Sadie from Hidden Mate。However， she’s very different。 Veronica learns to open up and love again。 She chooses to take a bunch of risks， and doesn’t let the fact that just because she’s in a new world where things she thought didn’t exist are actually real， she adapts and pushes on。 She’s brave and strong hearted。 That’s what’s so admirable about her character。 I look forward to seeing more exciting series and stories from Jen！ I do plan to check out more of her books in the future， and I recommend this to those who love a good urban fantasy romance。 This might not be my most favorite out of her other series， but it’s solid and a well built addition to the Shadow City series！ 。。。more

I was excited to read about Alex。 He had come to help Sterlyn and the group in her books。 Jen L。 Grey did not disappoint。 He was as tortured as they come between his family， his role with the vampires， and his mate。 Veronica （Ronnie） is strong and is more than she seems。 Book is fast paced with lots of action and of course the great banter between the group。
